-In the first quarter of 2022, the nominal value of loans to the domestic private sector served by domestic CSFs that were transferred to non-resident specialized financial institutions increased by €7,923 million.
-The total value of the above loan category increased to 87,661 million euros at the end of the first quarter of 2022, compared to 79,738 million euros in the previous quarter.
Business loans
The nominal value of corporate loans served increased to 32,811 million euros in the first quarter of 2022, compared to 32,026 million euros in the previous quarter. More specifically, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by €763 million to reach €32,708 million at the end of the first quarter of 2022. Of the total of these loans to NFCs, an amount of 16.728 million corresponds to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions served by FSCs increased by €24 million to €104 million at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships
The nominal amount of loans to individual entrepreneurs, farmers and general partnerships served by the FSCs increased by €556 million compared to the previous quarter to stand at €12,231 million at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions
The nominal amount of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions served by the CSFs increased from €6,582 million to €42,619 million at the end of the first quarter of 2022. More specifically, consumer loans served increased by 2 €187 million to €18,257 million, while the corresponding property loans increased by €4,394 million to €24,170 million.
