OREGON — Khalil Luster had 36 points and Jareon Mayo scored 18 as Lima Senior beat Clay 94-59 Friday night in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference men’s basketball game.

The Spartans improved to 13-2 overall and 9-1 in the TRAC.

Allen East graduate

reached 500 wins

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Denise Bierly, currently Eastern Connecticut State University’s longest-serving head coach, has reached the next milestone in her 28-year career as a women’s basketball coach. With Monday night’s 56-27 Little East Conference win at Keene State College, Bierly earned his 500th career win.

The Little East’s active leader in women’s basketball coaching wins, she is also a member of the Defiance College Alumni Varsity D and Allen East High School Halls of Fame and in the spring of 2017 was inducted into the Connecticut Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. His induction into the Allen East Hall of Fame took place at the Charter Induction Ceremonies. Bierly set program records for points in a career (1,395), a season (475) and a game (44) before graduating in 1986.
