Job Summary:

This internship involves assisting with the reporting and production of Michigan Radio’s daily news product. The internship will require candidates to manage tasks related to the day-to-day running of a radio newsroom. Internships are writing-intensive with tasks such as audio collection and editing, news writing, and attending press conferences.

The internship will provide instruction in the day-to-day running of a radio station newsroom operation.

Qualifications required:

Applicants should have an interest in journalism, good writing skills and an ability to work under pressure. Applicants must also be able to commit to a full workday and 16-24 hours of work per week.
