An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing manager to join Nine Lives Bazaar on a maternity leave contract.

Based from our beautiful Kingscliff Beachside Head Office, you will report to the Director of Business Operations and Directors working in a fun team to develop and execute the brand’s overall marketing and digital strategy. You will be responsible for delivering impactful multi-channel marketing and content campaigns and managing the communications strategy. You will track and analyze the performance of all marketing campaigns, manage the marketing budget to drive customer traffic; implement unique marketing strategies and initiatives that translate into sales nationally and internationally. This is an attractive role for an experienced Marketing Manager who excels at promoting brand awareness and identity in a stimulating and fun environment.

As Marketing Manager (Maternity Leave Contract) your missions will be as follows:

  • Work collaboratively with Creative Directors and Director of Business Operations to execute a marketing strategy that drives fit, engagement, connection and profitability
  • Master branding with effective go-to-market campaigns and ensure the brand message is strong and consistent across all marketing efforts
  • Oversee and track budgets for multiple projects at once
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and external agencies to ensure optimal exposure that meets brand awareness, engagement and ROI metrics
  • Perform competitor, customer, and customer analyzes and share insights that guide decision-making
  • Drive traffic to online stores to meet monthly sales forecasts and relevant financials
  • Collect and analyze data to provide monthly reports on key marketing, social, PR and event activities.
  • Management of the annual marketing calendar in line with the sales calendar and taking advantage of key sales opportunities
  • Brief and manage artwork with graphic design contractors required for website, GEDs, social media, digital marketing, wholesale lookbooks and other external collateral
  • Conduct research and work with multiple data sources to identify opportunities for business growth both locally and internationally
  • Own and execute the growth strategy on acquisition channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Omnisend, etc.
  • Build email database and create, implement and report on EDM campaigns
  • Liaise and brief website developers on e-commerce site requirements, bugs, patches and updates
  • Track and manage e-commerce site revenue budget
  • Monitoring and analysis of marketing activities and strategies on organic and paid channels
  • Oversee the planning of content shoots in conjunction with the Social Media and Marketing Assistant
  • Strategizing and implementing events and activations
  • Events and filming assistance, if applicable

About you:

  • You will have proven experience in a similar role/in the marketing and e-commerce industry (ideally 2+ years of experience working with an e-commerce fashion brand)
  • You will have a detailed understanding of tone of voice in communication and branding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for writing
  • Ability to think creatively with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Thorough understanding of major social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Pinterest)
  • Technology expert with knowledge and experience of Shopify, email marketing channels (Omnisend or similar) and scheduling platforms such as Latergram.
  • Ability to report, understand and analyze metrics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital channels including Facebook, Google and Pinterest
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, web traffic metrics and basic SEO knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Writing experience or examples of previous work (highly appreciated)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to positively represent the brand
  • Working knowledge of Mac operating systems and Internet applications
  • Fashion experience (essential)
