CJM :: LA is recruiting! We are looking for an organized, motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Creative Team in Santa Barbara, CA. Our projects are diverse and range from private residential properties to hotels, multi-family and commercial properties in California, Arizona and Hawaii. The position of Project Manager involves the design, documentation and management of large-scale commercial and residential projects, including tasks such as: site analysis, conceptual design, preparation of schematic presentation documents, development of construction documents and site visits. Additionally, we encourage our team at all levels to participate in presentations to review boards and clients.
Requirements include:
3-5 years minimum work experience in a landscape architecture firm.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in landscape architecture.
Experience in project management / project coordination.
Demonstrated ability to prepare landscape architectural drawings and specifications: concept design, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
Technical understanding of site design and construction methods and materials.
Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise hand drawn sketches and digital graphics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Attention to detail and effective organization / time management skills.
Clear communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD / LandFX, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Lumion, Revit or Rhino)
