4 SCV students selected from University of Minnesota Twin Cities Dean’s List
The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 Semester at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities:
- Sevin Antley, a Canyon Country senior at the College of Liberal Arts.
- Nicholas Moore, a junior from Stevenson Ranch in the College of Science and Engineering.
- Jonah Zeidler, Stevenson Ranch senior at the College of Education and Human Development.
- Megan Meacham, senior from Valencia at the College of Science and Engineering.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits per letter while achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.66.
Aaron Gelberg named to Center College Dean’s List
Aaron Gelberg, of Santa Clarita, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall term at Center College, an honor reserved for students who maintain a GPA of at least 3.60.
A graduate of the Academy of the Canyons, Gelberg’s parents are Graham and Carroll Gelberg from Santa Clarita.
Center College, founded in 1819, has been named one of the Top 15 Forbes Colleges / Universities in the South for seven years in a row and is among the colleges that change lives.
Local students named to MCPHS University Dean’s List
Boston’s MCPHS University has announced that a pair of local students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester 2020:
- Camille Beniga, of Canyon Country, is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy. She is expected to graduate from the Boston campus in 2022.
- Denzel Abesamis, of Santa Clarita, is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy and is expected to graduate from the Boston campus in 2026.
The Dean’s List recognizes students with a full-time course load who have achieved an outstanding scholarship with a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the academic term.

Founded in 1823, MCPHS University is the oldest institution of higher education in the city of Boston.
Local student named to Potomac State College Dean’s List
Potomac State College Dean of Academic Affairs Greg Ochoa announced that 221 students had secured a spot on the Dean’s List for spring 2021, including Lauryn Buiatti of Castaic.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of graded courses, achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 to 3.699, and not have D, F, or I grades.
Piroli named to Missouri Valley Dean’s List
Dr. Diane Bartholomew, vice president of academic affairs at Missouri Valley College, announced the Spring 2021 Dean’s List, which includes Holly Marie Piroli, an exercise science major from Santa Clarita.
The requirements for the Dean’s List are a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher; at least 12 hours graded for the semester and no âDâ, âFâ or âincompleteâ grades for the semester.
Missouri Valley College offers over 30 academic programs, a study abroad program, extracurricular activities, and plenty of athletic opportunities. The most popular majors are education, agribusiness, nursing, and criminal justice.
