NEW HAVEN – Vincent Mcknight of Hamden has joined Pearce Real Estate as a sales associate in the New Haven residential office, according to a statement.

McKnight holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Science in Retail Management, according to the release.

“Good management skills and good organization are key elements needed in this business,” Nanette Pastore, president of Pearce Real Estate, said in the release, “and Vincent has the education and work experience creating a perfect balance for his future success.”

Women are redefining retirement to meet

MILFORD – Women Redefining Retirement will meet at 6 p.m. on July 11 in the second floor boardroom at the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive.

According to a statement, member Iris Dougherty will speak about meditation, techniques and its mental and physical health benefits.

Food donations will be collected for the center’s food bank.

Geirin joins the residential sales team at Pearce Real Estate

Dan Geirin of Hamden has joined the New Haven office of Pearce Real Estate as a residential sales associate, the company said in a statement.

Geirin studied accounting at Curry College in Massachusetts, according to the statement.

Housatonic River Job Network July Meetings

MILFORD – The Housatonic River Job Network has set the agenda for its July meetings.

– July 12: The guest speaker will be Kate Frederick, an on-air personality for CT Biz Tour and a social media manager, and the topic will be “Putting your best self into the workforce”. According to the organizers, “This workshop will include lots of tips to help job seekers present themselves as themselves – not only in an interview, but in all social situations.”

– July 19: The guest speaker will be Paul Mayer, President of the Schlegg Group, and the topic will be “Job Search 2022 – The Best Strategies for Success”. Mayer is a senior human resources professional with more than 25 years of experience in both generalist and specialist areas of HR, organizers said, and his presentation “will cover all facets relating to job hunting – from networking to resumes. through interviews.
