Job overview – Architect:

The architect is a generalist role, and the candidate should possess the abilities to deal with aspects of architectural design and to assist senior management in production, project and client management, and related matters. The position is responsible for managing a wide variety of complex professional design project types and activities including: spatial planning and design, materials, details, structural systems and MEP, code requirements. The role includes contributing to the completion of the project and supporting business development activities and company operations.

The ideal candidate will be organized, creative and pragmatic with a solid foundation in design concepts and principles, practices and construction. Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential skills required for the job.

The architect will communicate and work closely with senior management and management of the company, customers, staff, consultants, suppliers and contractors. The position is a solid platform for personal career growth, leads directly to advancement to higher levels and supports the success and overall growth of the company.

Other aspects of the role include:

  • Contribute to the production of conceptual and fully executed architectural and interior designs
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Participate in and support the firm’s comic book activities
  • Collaborate within project teams, with suppliers and consultants to produce successful design results
  • Ability to create contract documents independently
  • Support and contribute to the aesthetic, functional and production aspects of projects
  • Assist senior leaders in the management and development of documentation, tool sets and systems, and functional / aesthetic resources
  • Proficiency in modeling / drawing skills in CAD, Revit and working skills in Adobe toolset and MS Office tools
